Addressing the Challenges of Executing Change
Applied Resource Management (ARM) surveyed 300 companies on the subject of change in the workplace and its effect on culture, attitudes, and perceptions. Organizations have difficulties in implementing lasting improvements as they tend to focus on the technical side and short-term issues. There is a tendency in organizations to disregard the human side and the larger system perspective. The purpose of this SHRM published white paper is to address these challenges and provide you with a window on workplace perspectives.

Conducting a Training Needs Analysis
How often have you heard, "We've got a training problem..." or They're not doing it the way they're suppose to...?" Often these statements are only symptoms of a problem. Until the problem is understood in greater detail, proposing a solution or a training intervention can be a costly and fruitless endeavor. This chapter appears in the book, Effective Human Resource Measurement Techniques, published by The Society for Human Resource Management.
